How can Therapy help? 

Many people struggle with mental health issues and experience burnout, anxiety, depression, relationship problems and many other difficulties. Sadly, many people even those in high profile job roles who often feel like they can’t talk about it because of the stigma attached to mental health and the expectation that wealth and success make problems easier to bear.  

An article on Forbes recorded some reasons why high achievers and successful people seek therapy and feeling imposter syndrome, the reasons behind their drive, the fear of losing everything, guilt from their success and the loneliness they feel. 

Seeking help is never a sign of weakness, it’s a sign of strength. Being in therapy is by no means easy; it can be one of the hardest things to embark on. Everybody deserves to be happy, fulfilled, and free from the pressure to always be on top and to be perfect.  

Therapy can help to: 

– Understand emotions and why you feel the way you do. 

– Come to terms with the past and explore current experiences.

Seeking a ‘well known Therapist’ is not necessary. A therapist that is trained and experienced in working with the human mind, emotions, development, and distress is all that you need. There are lots of therapists you can reach out to, that are verifiable, qualified, and registered with reputable membership bodies such as National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and you can browse their profiles on sites such as Counselling Directory. A good therapist will help you in building a more fulfilling life, prioritizing care for yourself and support you in making better decisions.

All staff are Registered Psychotherapist, Counsellor’s and Life Coach’s and registered with NCPS. All staff have worked within the social care setting assisting members in the community with struggles of daily life.  We work with a wide variety of client issues including anxiety, stress, imposter syndrome, self-worth issues, family conflict, relationship problems, infertility, and identity issues. Our clients are usually from a diverse range of backgrounds from 18+ from single parent, students too busy professionals who juggle demanding schedules and lifestyles. 

In our work together, we use an integrative model of relational therapy, and include tools through a person-centred approach to explore the issues you bring. Sessions are at a mutually agreed time, and we can work short-term or open-ended, depending on your needs and what you would like to achieve. 

We offer a confidential non-judgmental space where you can talk freely and explore any difficult issues or simply to walk with you in your current path. I know that not everyone can come to see us in person, so we offer online and telephone to enable you fit therapy into your busy schedule without having to leave your home, hotel, or office.
